I/we am/are complicated. But really, it boils down to this: I'm a blogger because I have a blog and I blog on it. I'm a mother because I made some people. I'm a girlfriend because one day I woke up and realized I was madly in love with my best friend. I'm the conference programming manager at BlogHer because BlogHer has changed my life, and I want to pay that forward. I'm a dog owner because I can't say no to stray puppies.

We found Jack Jack Attack behind a trash can. Maximus the Dog of Thunder was living in someone's bathroom. They have eaten all of my pencils.
